Barack Obama (D-Ill.) stood before Planned Parenthood (PP) and vowed that his first priority as president would be to sign the Freedom of Choice Act (FOCA). According to NARAL Pro-Choice America, FOCA would “codify Roe v. Wade into law and guarantee a woman’s right to choose in all 50 states.” On April 7, 2007, when Sen. Barbara Boxer (D-Calif.) and Rep. Jerry Nadler (DN.Y.) introduced the Act in Congress, they knew that it was far more than a government “guarantee” of abortion. If enacted, FOCA would obliterate hundreds of state laws that protect women, parents, children, and health care workers, while forcing taxpayers to foot the bill for millions of abortions. It would overturn commonsense laws like parental notification, conscience protections, abortion waiting periods, informed consent, and regulations for women’s health. In essence, FOCA would tilt the table for abortion. Obama’s support of FOCA hits particularly close to home among African-Americans, whose women and children have been preyed upon for decades by the eugenically minded Planned Parenthood. If birthmothers were aware that when placing for adoption, they would receive assistance during pregnancy and they can select the family that they place their child with. Birthmothers and couples can choose a plan that works for them.

I think your being a small bit closed minded here. Yes there are a lot of pro lifers who are angry and shout insults. There are also many like myself who thinks the last thing a woman needs after an abortion is to be judged. I am an athiest and 100% pro life. I have friends who’ve had abortions and although i dont agree with it i cant judge them. What upsets me is when docs tell women its a blob of cells at 12 weeks and later after the abortion they learn what it really was. That cuts women up.

No, if you think that people do not have a moral right to protect themselves (to the point of killing their attackers) from harm, you’re incapable of recognizing evil. It’s morally wrong to kill the unborn for the sake of convenience, but it’s also morally wrong to pretend that people aren’t justified in protecting themselves from harm.

@generalmaximus53 Overpopulation is a major problem. That is a fact. Also when a man “jacks-off” millions of potentiall babies are indirectly killed. Why would abortion be any more wrong? A newborn child is (according to tests) not truley self aware let alone a fetus. Also the fact that many species go extinct is often direct cause of us overpopulating this planet. And we do affect nature (in a bad way mostly) Whats the point of having babies if we cant promise them a healthy planet to live in?
