“Presumably you have donated all your disposable income to the young lady in question? ”

Completely irrelevant. I know people like you like to divert the discussion when you no longer have anything to add, but I will not be diverted with such foolishness. Do you have anything relevant to add to the discussion?

I’m an atheist who is pro choice, but this video was inspirational!.

    Good words and good work!

  3. angryislander56 says:

This is the fundamental social hypocrisy of the ant-abortion movement. The core of the thing is judgment and exclusion. If HALF the energy was put into dealing with social (never mind personal) realities this movement MIGHT have SOME credibility!

  4. mvalldar says:

I am a pro-choice atheist, but you have earned my respect sir. The majority of the pro-life crowd are sensationalistic and would never lift a finger to help…..they’re all words and no action. You, on the other hand are part of the solution. If there we’re only others like you among the pro-life crowd, the debate might actually be much more civil….thank you

  5. disturbed119 says:

hey mr.priest sir that “thing” inside her is not a baby, so listen here you dip shit , do you plan on supporting every mother that turns up at the church until their child can fend for them selfs, obviously freaking not, your religion would go bankrupt within a moth, also i thought only god can answer prayers you hypocrite, wake the freak up and read a biology book.

  6. RaidenTheAlmighty says:

I guess I have different feelings on the abortion subject. I don’t consider a fetus to be a child. I don’t think that a fetus is a human being yet.

I think it comes down to the issue of the soul. Religious people think that there is some ethereal counter part to the physical body, known as the soul.

I just don’t buy that. I think that humans are flesh and blood creatures and the mind is all that there is.

  7. RaidenTheAlmighty says:

I would also like to add that while I am pro-choice, I don’t really agree with abortion. I would rather see people having protected sex and using birth control. But I realize that abortions will always occur and that they are necessary to a certain degree.

Excellent video sir – you’ve just been subbed! Oh and please stay angry it suits you!

  9. TurumbarTurin says:

Beautiful video, but it begs the question; are you pro-life?
Sure, you put some leg work into it but that amounted to about as much use as that minister’s prayers.
Did you offer to help out in a substantial way?
Did you advice her to put the child up for adoption?
Anything at all that would have been of use?
Thank the FSM I am pro-choice.

I suppose the lesson is, don’t go the the buildings looking for the true Church. We aren’t in there.

  11. Gnug215 says:

    Wow, awesome!

You’re the coolest priest I’ve ever seen.

Yep, you took the #1 position, and you didn’t just beat any old priest to get the #1 spot. No sir. Do you know who you beat?

You beat the Kung-fu fighting priest of the movie ‘Braindead’!

That’s right! The one with the immortal fight-scene one-liner “I kick arse for the Lord!”
    :)

  12. MrRobokoper says:

    ABORD IST MORD!

  13. alyassapaige1 says:

@cathy440041 so your only going to blame the women for unplanned pregnancies?

  14. usenetposts says:

You got mad at that other minister, but if God has laid that person at your door, why don’t you help her yourself instead of roping in 32 other pastors. You can yourself a father, be one. I got 5 kids already.

  15. MyBirthMyWay says:

    I emailed you… :-s

  16. Kevin41581 says:

Asked the Orthodox church’s position on abortion, Bartholomais described a stand more liberal than that of the Roman Catholic Church. Bartholomais said, the church also ”respects the liberty and freedom of all human persons and all Christian couples.”
”We are not allowed to enter the bedrooms of the Christian couples,” he said. ”We cannot generalize. There are many reasons for a couple to go toward abortion.”

  17. SSLinebeck says:

@mvalldar But I don’t see the logic in this, or if there is logic, it is twisted. I mean, sure, it would be nice if pro-life people, especially followers of Christ, would do more to help (and MANY do, just take a look at the first comment on this page), but where does it follow that “Uh, ok, since they’re not doing anything, I am going to snuff out an innocent life.” UH, WHAT? EXCUSE ME?

  18. SSLinebeck says:

I really am frustrated with this. I don’t understand how the blame of aborted babies gets pushed on pro-life voters??? What about the person that actually does the abortion?

  19. mvalldar says:

@SSLinebeck First I would ask, what do you mean by twisted logic? Elaborate a bit. I believe that every woman has a fundamental right to her own body. Thats not to say that there should not be limits, of course(for example, i think that if a woman is going to have an abortion she must have it done as soon as possible). Moving on to your last comment, what exactly would you have her do? Personally, I find she is doing much less harm aborting the fetus than to bring said fetus into a world……..

  20. Ace91939 says:

@mvalldar I think it’s a mistaken belief to suggest that anyone has a right to snuff out an innocent life under the red herring of “right to your body.” It’s callous and in violation of basic principles of the value of life. Your comment, at least it seemed to me, used the alleged inaction of pro-life voters to somehow justify killings of babies, which is twisted logic. Even as an atheist, you should take a principled stand that no one has the right to kill another life.

  21. mvalldar says:

@SSLinebeck where she cannot take care of it. But any way, i digress. I don’t want to preach. My only intent in making my comment was to express my respect for the pastor for trying to get this woman help on her behalf. I might not necesarily agree with his beliefs on the issue, but I can still respect him. You may say what you want of my beliefs

  22. KC101X says:

    @RaidenTheAlmighty
I occurs because the society we are in is sick. You’re floating in the air, doing nothing.

  23. KC101X says:

    @mvalldar
What the hell are you talking about, liar? Pro-Life people do EVERYTHING to help. They probably have more phone lines and help stations than pro-abortionists have recruitment and abortion mills.

  24. KC101X says:

After listening to your video, yes as I said, the problem is the society. You’re angry with the wrong thing.

  25. KC101X says:

OH and how uselss isn’t this arugment that are pro-abortionists now say: “Yeah, I’m pro choice and YEAH THE PRO-LIFE ARE SO DUMB THEY DON’T DO ANYTHING PRO-LIFE SO I AM RIGHT TO BE PRO-ABORTION”.

It just shows how illogical you all are. Death dealers, bah.
