Obama vs Olbermann – the showdown of the girly men
Full President Reagan speech www.youtube.com President Barack Obama confronted the issue of abortion head on Sunday at Notre Dame, acknowledging that differences over the issue are largely irreconcilable but issuing a plea to those on both sides to tone down harsh rhetoric and search for common ground he believes is possible. I do not suggest that the debate surrounding abortion can or should go away, Obama said. No matter how much we may want to fudge it indeed, while we know that the views of most Americans on the subject are complex and even contradictory the fact is that at some level, the views of the two camps are irreconcilable, he told graduates. Each side will continue to make its case to the public with passion and conviction. But surely we can do so without reducing those with differing views to caricature. He called for a respectful debate marked by open hearts, open minds, fair-minded words. Obamas commencement address marked his most direct remarks on abortion as president and he delivered them at the nations flagship Catholic university, where his appearance sparked protests. But while he often drew on his personal experiences to make his points and highlight his respect for Catholicism, Obama never substantively addressed why he believes a woman has the right to abortion.

…if you look on my profile you can see pretty much how anti-government I am. To tell you the truth I am a full blown anarchist.
And I never said that you cant criticize people, thats what the 1st amend is there for (check all my comments if you want).
All I am trying to do is that if you want to be more effective at showing everyone how bad Obama is please back it up with facts rather than pulling a Olberman where you use out of context quotes and close minded opinions.
opinions that are open-minded arent really opinions
To any Keith Olbermann (KO) fan: Obama said we should be able to discuss issues with those that disagree without reducing them to a “caricature.” KO showed that portion of his speech last night and made a comment showing he agreed with the president. How does KO reconcile that with how he treats Bill O’Reilly (Billo), Sean Hannity (Manatee), Rush Limbaugh (Boss Limbaugh), not to mention the various voices he uses when quoting them? Note he only does that to those with which he disagrees
Just trying to understand. Do you think MSNBC is not awful? Keith Olbermann? Do you see any bias, hipocrisy, exageration, distortion, lies in Keith’s show? I am not Republican and have major problems wth some of the things Bush/Cheney did, but why can’t people call it like they see it, no matter who said what. Not taking the side solely because of who said it (i.e. Democrat, Conservative, Republican, Liberal). If something is wrong, its wrong, no matter who says it. Consistency?
i have to agree with petitealicious mate they were smiling during the whole thing
haha KampfgruppePeiper ur such a douchebag

oic…so Im wrong. They did smile
” they were smiling during the whole thing
” – no they smiled rarely and sporadically
It was an uncomfortable forced smile spured on by the electrified seats shocking them at the end of every talking point.
Sean of the dead, comes in black ?
vid poster: u are lying cause u choose to pick a scene where u are making them seem like they are not happy. to me they are intent at listening and they have thinking faces on! but to each’s own.
to me they seem like they have thinking faces not hatered faces against Obama. what do you think?
What? This isn’t NEARLY an accurate “showdown”. One is about abortion and the other is about gay rights. I’m appalled that so many people choose to base their political beliefs off of criminal ill-informed youtube videos.
LOL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! CLASSIC!!!!
“choose to base their political beliefs off of criminal ill-informed youtube videos”
BWAHAHAHAHAAAAAAAAAAAAA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
The name of the uploader says it all. Well, national socialism and Catholicism have always gone well together. I bet the so-called “Führer” (who was a faithful Catholic too) would be proud of you, “Kampfgruppe Peiper”.
Hitler believed in the occult…the swastika is just one example, the nordic architecture he adored was a part of that also. He sent catholics to death camps. Its pathetic to call Hitler a Catholic, as its simply a lie.
Hitler was a self-professed Catholic Christian. He believed in a lot of weird shit, just like the current pope does. Ratzinger believes in demonic possession and exorcism… how occult is that? Anyway, the many things Hitler believed were rooted in his Christian faith. He mentioned god and Jesus in his speeches all the time, the Catholic Church backed him – the Vatican even did – and he sent all kinds of people to death camps, among them countless liberals and leftists who were atheists.
Hitler said in a Gauleiter meeting in 1936: “I don’t want any conflict with the Churches or the clergy. The myth of Mr. Rosenberg is not part of the agenda of our party. Aside from that, let me tell you that the Catholic Church posesses a vital force that will outlive all of us, all who sit here.” And he said on the German school system: “A secular school can never be tolerated because it would lack religious education. We badly need faithful soldiers. Christian soldiers give everything.”
Goebbels and Himmler were Catholics too, btw. Atheists were not allowed to become members of the NSDAP. And Pope Pius XI backed Hitler from the very beginning, just like the Vatican supported Franco, Mussolini, Pavelic, Codreanu, Degnelle, Tiso, Pétain and Szalasy; all those brutal fascist dictators were faithful Catholics. Pius XI never went back on the concordat he signed with the Third Reich and ignored all reports about death camps.
One death camp was even administrated by a Franciscan priest, Miroslav Filipovic-Majstorovic. He was leader of the camp Jasenovac in Croatia, where almost 200,000 Jews and Serbs were killed. That’s how close many Catholics worked together with the Nazis.
Germany was a Christian country. Still is. Nobody would have voted for an occultist. The NSDAP handed out flyers w.the text “Vote for the faithful Catholic Adolf Hitler”. Like it or not, he was a Catholic leader of a Christian country.
Was OlberDORK about to cry? LOLOL
nice one
