The Immigration & Nationality Act of 1952 protects the citizenship of US child abroad even if the custodial parent obtains citizenship abroad. Even if Obama had gained Indonesian citizenship (of which there is no proof), he still retained his US citizenship under US law, regardless of Indonesian law. Once he moved back to the US at age 10 to stay, his US citizenship remained intact. I actually use the facts to support my argument while you just make stuff up.
tgear, i take it you have seen obama’s birth certificate (original)? you sound like a lawyer. i dont have any proof, i dont have any ideas on this matter. i do know one thing. if this guy is a fraud and not eligible to be president, not only should he be removed from office and his presidency revoked, he and who ever knowingly conspired in this matter, should be arrested and tried for treason and conspiracy against the republic.

No, I have not seen his long form BC. But the COLB, which was confirmed by the State, acts as legal proof of birth. Once Hawaii confirmed it, that should have been it for the Birthers. The fact that they continue shows that they just hate Obama, not that they are worried about the Constitution. If Obama did commit a fraud (which is not possible), he would be removed from office, his policies would be reviewed (not revoked) and charged with fraud, not treason. You could not prove treason.

Sorry, but you are wrong there. There is nothing in the Constitution or anywhere else in the US legal code about the President not being able to hold dual citizenship. There are arguments that he should not hold an obligation to a foreign power, but it is not written into law. As for Obama’s citizenship, if he had obtained Indonesian citizenship as a child (of which there still is no proof), under our Immigration & Nationality laws, he would have lost it at age 23. (cont) argument’s sake: please explain this to me. Obama’s father being Kenyan has been publicly known since 1996 when he wrote his first book. If your argument was true, that no dual citizen could be President, how did he become President? Why would the DNC let him run if he couldn’t take office? Why did neither Clinton or McCain use this to disqualify him and win the nomination/election respectively? Why did the RNC allow him to beat McCain? You can’t answer these questions.
You cannot answer those questions because George Bush, if there was any doubt, should have handled the verification before he left office. It is obvious that there is no credibility in her accusations.
I use to like Michael Savage. I donated to his fund to fight CAIR, but with his choice of giving Orly Taitz airplay, I have lost all respect. Michael Savage should join the coasttocoastam lineup who dwells on conspiracies.

..everyone in Hawaii knows that anyone can just arrive at a county office and file a form that uses the persons signiture and nothing fillled in but a name and signiture. Then the county clerk takes that information and submits it to the local newspaper. “Baby born to” ………and thats what the dunces of the Universe keep ignoring. The mom and grandma did not want to spend MONEY and time to make their kids citizens thru LEGAL means. When a trip to a tiny county office & a LIE works out easier!
It is we the people who need to keep talking about this issue to friends and relatives and whoever. This is one of those issues that the people will run with and eventually find itself in the upper government when the support of so many will not be ignored!
