I just find it odd that he has not voluntarily provided his proof of citizenship and his reluctance has stimulated this dialogue. I’m going by the evidence that says he is legitimate compared to the speculation that he is not, with no real evidence to support that side of the argument. Two things made my convictions stronger. One is that a couple of the more prolific “pro conspiracy” uploaders blocked me. I think thats a highly hypocritical way of portraying “truth”. Simply CENSOR half the debate. That proved to me that the birther argument is fundamentally weak because it lacks facts.

The conspiracy side lacks facts that can stand on their own and speak for themselves. The other thing is that I have a green colb exactly like Obama’s. I’ve used it whenever I’ve had to produce a valid birth certificate. Its never been rejected, so I have a hard time understanding why people make such a big deal over it… “It not a birth certificate”… etc LOL…. I bet we are similar in many ways.

You know, I had a question that I couldn’t get answered. Why is Mr. Obama’s father listed as African? The term didn’t exist 1961. He would have been classified as Negro at the time. African wouldn’t have complied with US standards as its a nationality, not a race. Is there a reason for this error if it is genuine?
Nothing against Obama, but a law is a law – if he’s not a natural born citizen, change the law so he’s legally president. Then maybe the bickering would stop.

It really has nothing to do with how you think Obama Sr should be “classified”. The parents self declared what was entered in the fields on the forms. Its more about how Barack Sr viewed himself. Yes, its that simple.
Title 8 of the US Code Sect 1401 describes 8 categories of how citizen at birth status is acquired. People that fall into ANY of those 8 categories are considered Natural Born and are eligible to run for President and VP.
