Why is there apparently no record of obama’s original birth certificate? the one sanchez displayed is a laser printed document. In 1961 there were maybe 4 laser printers. Additionally, the state dept would not allow me to use a 1999 laser printed birth abstract (like obama’s Hawaiian BC) to obtain a passport citing a history of forgery concerns. Why doesn’t obama end the controversy by showing everyone the original BC?
The reason that it is a laser-printed document is that it is not a copy of the original. It is the new, short-form official birth certificate of Hawaii. The officials in Hawaii have twice confirmed that the facts on the Certification are the same as those on the original document. Why not show the original document? Because that is Hawaii’s decision. It does not show the original for anyone anymore. Yes, but the funds were not spent on lawsuits for the birth certificate or for documents. The vast majority of the lawsuits tried to stop the election. Then there were lawsuits to stop the Electoral College from voting and to stop the Congress from certifying the election and to stop the Inauguration. If there had ever been a lawsuit just for the birth certificate, Obama would have shown it. He has t he official birth certificate of Hawaii, and it would be accepted by any court.
Being born in Hawaii does not make Obama eligible to be POTUS. He would need to be a natural-born United Sates citizen to meet the eligibility requirements. Obama’s father was Kenyan, a British subject, at the time of Obama’s birth. A natural-born United Sates citizen is one born of United Sates citizens, not one British subject and one United States citizen.

The state of hawaii confirmed that Obama was born in Hawaii twice. In the most recent confirmation, the head of the department of health said:
“I, Dr. Chiyome Fukino, director of the Hawaii State Department of Health, have seen the original vital records maintained on file by the Hawaii State Department of Health verifying Barack Hussein Obama was born in Hawaii and is a natural-born American citizen. In the previous confirmation, the spokeswoman for the department of health was asked twice whether Fukino meant that Obama was born in Hawaii, and she replied that was what he meant. The statement at that time said that there was an original birth certificate in the file, and at the time Hawaii would not allow foreign birth certificates to be filed. The notices in the newspapers also tend to confirm because they were sent out by the government of Hawaii for births in Hawaii, and not for births outside of Hawaii.
Hawaii does not allow a birth document of any kind to be issued that says ‘born in Hawaii’ on it unless there was proof that the child was born in Hawaii. Obama’s birth certificate says ‘born in Hawaii’ on it, and the facts on it were confirmed twice by the officials.

Who told you this? It is wrong. A Natural Born Citizen is simply a citizen who has not been naturalized. All US citizens who were born in the USA are Natural Born Citizens.
That is why such prominent conservative Senators who are also lawyers as Orren Hatch and Lindsay Graham say that a Natural Born Citizen is simply one who was born in the USA:
