LETTER FROM CNN SITUATION ROOM TO FormerObamaSupporters.com
Below is a letter we just received from CNN Situation Room about our site. We hide the phone number for confidentiality. From the questions CNN asked, it is now clear that CNN is an undercover agent for Obama. You decide.

Hello,
I saw your Web site and am interested with speaking to the owner to hear a little more about it.
Would you please give me a call at 202-772-xxxx or email me back with contact info and/or responses to the following questions?
Thanks, and I look forward to hearing back from you.
Best regards,
Eric Weisbrod
CNN “The Situation Room”

My main questions are:
Who runs this Web site?
You link to several sites from former Clinton supporters. Are you associated with the PumaPAC or the Just Say No Deal coalition?
Have you ever been a supporter of Hillary Clinton?
Did you support Obama in the primary? How much? Did you donate to the campaign?
If so, what was the turning point for you when you no longer supported Obama.
Have you donated or were involved with any campaign or other official organization?
How many people are affiliated with this site? How many people have registered with the site?

If you can believe this, I’ve got a bridge I want you to buy!!
Well Mr. Weisbrod, the questions are self evident that you and your cable network are and have been pro Obama, from the beginning. Honsetly, we’ve had enough of “The Situation Room”..we can’t listen to Wolf Blitzer, John Cafferty, Jeff Toobin, and the rest of these so called “best” of nothing anymore. You have denigrated your profession, by editorializing on this past primary and let us know that BO is the “chosen one”. Well we don’t listen to you anymore. And we surely don’t care about anything you say or want.
the only one worth watching on CNN is Lou Dobbs, he calls it how he sees it.
Lou Dobbs, is the only truthful person on CNN.
Fox News is the Other,People, that are Good Honest News.
Fair and Balanced
I despise CNN. They stopped reporting the news a long time ago. They’ve decided to manipulate and distort it instead. It is unconscionable.
I couldn’t get on your site for a while. I was worried that BO thugs took you down like they have taken down other Puma sites.
The first read articles on MSNBC are a joke! The comments section never has my comments posted because it is all a fix. They have employees for MSNBC or the Obama camp or both posting all of the pro-obama comments. They put in a token dissident comment every now and then to make it look like anyone can post but that is all phony! Just like everything that Obama does is a media gimmick! He thinks that if he makes a few headlines and travels abroad he will make the public believe that he has foreign affairs experience. HAHA, a good example of his phony media gimmicks is the WATER BOTTLE GATE! Anyway, someone needs to tell BO ( and yes, he does smell because everyone knows what his armpits are cooking!) that you can pull an all-nighter on foreign affairs and have the same understanding, maturity and spiritual involvement in what it is all about the way that a John McCain does!
Well, this is curious!
Wonder why they are questioning. Did they lose that much in ratings????
I hope so!
Don’t be harassed by CNN, the Obama campaign or any other “force to be reckoned with” who will try to squelch your site and your opinion. It’s just beginning … don’t be intimidated. You are being recognized, and supported by many Americans who feel the same as you do. Thank you!
Do not respond to them. They want your info to threaten you and to take your info for their elections strategy.
Do not respond.
I don’t know how you take what seem to be the basic questions that any journalist would ask when doing a report on a web site like this and decide “From the questions CNN asked, it is now clear that CNN is an undercover agent for Obama.”
I don’t see it. And no, I don’t support Obama. (But unlike former Obama supporters, I never did. Of course I wasn’t a Hillary Clinton support either.)
This is not a “troll” comment. Check out my letters at Salon and you will see what I mean. (I added the link to the last page of my letters to the URL space in the “leave a comment” blanks. If it doesn’t link there, copy and paste this: http://letters.salon.com/b03729975670bd85821c96a9ef5cb894/author/index6.html)
For years, I never took my tv off CNN and MSNBC News. Now, I take great pleasure in NEVER watching them, no matter what they might be showing that I might like. I watch Fox News now, and I used to absolutely hate them!
I am totally and 100% sickened by the MSM in this election. They have lost ALL credibility with me. For years, my Republican friends tried to tell me that the media was liberal-biased and I refused to see it. NOW I understand just how unprofessional and prejudiced they are, and they have lost a valuable and loyal watcher who kept their stations running all day long.
I hope they find that Obama and his worshipers are worth it, because they sure placed all their hopes on him. Where did they think the 18 million Americans who supported Hillary would go? Surely they didn’t think we’d ever forget. Hell hath no fury like a PUMA scorned.
“NBC’s chief foreign affairs correspondent Andrea Mitchell spoke on Hardball last night and made some acute observations during an appearance on Hardball with Chris Matthews.
“You’re seeing selected pictures taken by the military, questions by the military and what some would call fake interviews because they’re not interviews from a journalist,” she said. “Politically, it’s smart as can be, but we have not seen a presidential candidate do this, in my recollection, ever before.”
When questioned by Matthews about some of the video from Obama’s time in Iraq, Mitchell continued. “I can’t really say, being a reporter who was not present in any of those situations, I just can’t report on what was edited out, what was on the sidelines,” said Mitchell. “We don’t know what we are seeing.”
Andrea Mitchell is NBC’s chief foreign affairs correspondent and she reports her frustration with the lack of access that reporters are getting from Barack Obama on his overseas trip, saying the Interviews he is giving are considered by some to be fake.
>I don’t know how you take what seem to be the basic questions that any journalist would ask when doing a report on a web site like this and decide “From the questions CNN asked, it is now clear that CNN is an undercover agent for Obama.”
The implication is CNN is no longer trusted by an apparently large segment of the posters here. Though the questions seem innocuous, the suspicion is that CNN has thrown all journalistic objectivity to the wind and is surrepetitiously working for Obama. I can’t say that I find that suspicion without credibility.
It seems to me that what CNN is trying to do is to answer the question are the formerObamasupporters really Hillary supporters. They could be perpetuating this belief. PUMA and other antiObama sites are trying to be portrayed as either started by republicans or just proHillary based. It seems really hard for the MSM to believe that there are Democrats who have never supported Obama, or once he was starting to be vetted, became antiObama. To me this is more a reflection of that they are not doing investigative journalism in regards to Obama — they either use the books as their fact basis, his campaign website, or others’ Obama supporters’ opinions. Or, are being directed from on high to present Obama as having no “true” progressive/liberal Dems who don’t support him. I mean he is “liberal” right, thus no one who is a liberal would be against him. He says and does all the lefty liberal things. So to them that fact just doesn’t pan out.
Questions they really should be asking: Why don’t people (liberals) support Obama; and Why isn’t Obama shedding the spotlight on Illinois, his home state, and/or Chicago, his home and campaign headquarters instead of touring the world on the taxpayers’ dime? Even the positive things about Obama, or negatives from his hometown that could be used as effective argumentative points to gain him more support for the GE are not being covered one wit.
It is because they either presume there is nothing neg to report about him there, or (more likely) they are keeping the spotlight off the plentiful neg issues that really do exist there. [egs. Rezko, the privatization of public housing fiasco, and the highest taxes in the US due to the privatization boondoggle and other corruption].
Whichever side you take on the argument — the MSM wants him to win because they are liberal vs. the MSM wants him to lose because they are controlled by corp interests — the outcome is bad for the country. Obama Liberals look like cult-followers (i.e., Chris Matthew’s tingling leg comments) and he is making an ass out of himself and our country versus the repubs winning the GE because they have effectively destroyed the Dem Party from within (Karl Rove’s wet dream).
For the record, I could never get on the Obama bandwagon. In short, his seeming message of populism, was not resulting in populist polices (as I thought Edwards was), and more importantly, Obama seemed like he was trying to please everyone by talking out of both sides of his mouth. Then his message of change through unity and transparency did not match his record (he kept Chicago reporters out-of-the loop, and would not come clean about Rezko, when he finally did hold a press conference in Chicago about his affiliations with Rezko, he conveniently forgot to invite the original reporter who broke the story and who by extension would have had the most info about it and asked the probing questions of him). Transparency, my ass. Oftentimes reporters in general were told effectively to read his books. Obama attributed major ethical problems to “boneheaded” mistakes, which in all honesty sounded to me like a comment a teenager would make who just banged up his Dad’s car. And let’s not forget the unwillingness to take a stand on issues by just voting “present” the most times in Ill state legislative history. These are traits that I would not want from my supposedly liberal, transparent, populace-focused politcian. Let’s face it, the only who really fit that bill was Kucinich.
The antiObama people had a sound and valid point when they supported Hillary saying that Obama had not been vetted yet. And yet, we were chastized for just being reasonable in our questioning. And then there is the complete undermining of “democracy” in our Democratic Party, as well as women in general being told they don’t matter in this “new Democratic Party.” Moreover, there is the internet assault on blogs that are anti-Obama. Blogs that were accused of spamming its subscribers, using subscribers’ names to post racist and other nasty comments. So the campaign tactics of Obama, so much more far advanced and “sophisticated” bully tactics than the repubs could dream of are being used against Democrats and other liberals/progressives. The Obama campaign has got the MSM also believing that it is ok to use these “new internet tactics” since according to the Obama camp, these blogs are really just proRepub, proMcCain, or proHillary in disguise.
So, I guess I can understand in part why CNN would pose these questions to antiObama websites, but these are the wrong questions to ask.
just my 2 cents
You have already given them to much information. Funny how they are using their investigating research now on us, but not the person who wants to be the President. Thay should be asking him the hard line questions.
Here’s my two cents - reply to the inquiry. It is not uncommon for reporters to contact this way. When my blogger account was shut down, I was first contacted by Simon Owens at Bloggasm which led to being interviewed by the NYT and then Fox News. You have control over what you say, and I do believe they are interested in covering this aspect of the story. Believe me, it was with great trepidation that I responded to bothe the NYT and FOX, but it was worth it. Know what you want to say and continue to say it, even if you are asked leading questions. Do it.
He wants to “hustle” and “jive talk” his way to the presidency. But pulling an “all-nighter” isn’t going to give him the foreign affairs credentials that someone like John McCAin has after years of hard work, sweat and tears!

My first choice was Bill Richardson, until I saw him debate. Then I looked at Edwards and saw right through him. I never liked Hillary Clinton, so I supported Obama by default. I was surprised by how well Hillary did in the debates, but not enough to vote for her in our early primary.
Then Rev. Wright hit. Even giving Barack Obama every benefit of every doubt, there was no good explanation for why he spent 20 years in that church. Did he really believe that garbage, or was it politically calculated? How could he go to a church that is so anti-white when HIS OWN FAMILY is white? I don’t want to psychoanalize the man, but I believe this disqualifies him for the job of POTUS.
I was hoping Hillary Clinton could pull it off, even though I never really liked her, but it was too little, too late.
It’s only gotten worse. Not only does Obama have questionable friends, but he has extremely questionable judgment when it comes to foreign policy. Ironically, in the recent incident in Georgia, it is Obama who would be Bush’s third term. Like Bush, he thinks he can talk the world into acting nice. (Don’t let the anti-war crowd fool you. Outside the Middle East, Bush has been surprisingly isolationist. However, this is what he campaigned on in 2000 - a “humble foreign policy.” This “humble foreign policy” was one reason why Bush was asleep at the wheel from Jan.-Sept. 2001. Gore would have continued Clinton’s internationalism, a position only Joe Lieberman cares to remember because it’s embarassing to BOTH parties. McCain is a hawk’s hawk and always has been.) Obama wants to the troops out of Iraq without any thoughts of the consequences. Either it’s pandering or naivite. Neither is good.
Obama is unqualified to be commander-in-chief and disqualified to lead the American people.
I used to be for Obama until I realized how often he talks through both side of his mouth and really doesn’t have a grasp on the issues. I am horrified at how he won’t visit the troops. I don’t know who I’m voting for but it isn’t Obama anymore. I want my vote back.
Why anybody would trust Barack Hussein Obama after he has a documented history of serial pathological lying is beyond me. Wake up and learn the truth like I did!
You can take the Community Organizer out of the ghetto but you can’t take the ghetto out of the Organizer.
Al Capone was a community organizer.
Mao Tse Tung (sp?) was a community organizer.
Putin is a community organizer.
Chavez is a community organizer.
and ……..Bill Clinton was a Governor just like Pilot and crucified and disgraced his wife and daughter for all the world to see
Need I go on ?
Hitler was a community organizer.
Stalin was a community organizer.
On the night of Obama’s nomination acceptance speech, a Thursday, he took praise from the masses, and gave thanks to those who supported him. The following day, a Friday, McCain’s nomination of Governor Sarah Palin was announced. “The One” fell quickly, but unlike Jesus, in three days this “messiah” did not rise again. His poll numbers went down, and stayed down.

Mr. Weisbrod thinks you are an idiot. He must have sent a similar email to others.
