OBAMA ON NATIONAL SECURITY: “I WILL SLOW OUR DEVELOPMENT OF FUTURE COMBAT SYSTEMS”

Wonder if the Islamofascists and terrorists everywhere are getting tired of celebrating?

After all, leftist Obama, he who blames America for what ails the world, just keeps giving them the go-ahead signal.

I’d ask if he really knew what he was saying and its impact on our Armed Forces and our enemies, but that’d be fruitless.

Barack Obama’s plan to “slow the development of future combat systems” confirms the Republican charge that Democrats are weak on defense, and if implemented, puts this country at risk.

Uh, 9/11 happened on the Republican watch. Bush was playing way to much golf to care. USA is in a 7 yr war with a 3rd world country and it still can’t win. What a joke. Try fighting China or any other developed country. USA can’t even beat the Flintstones. Using homemade weapons and rocks. Why spend all our tax money on a defense that can’t even win against a country that was under 20 yrs of embargo. A joke. And now you want to go into Iran? What an ego. Go for it. Bush said bring it on, and they did. And your losing.

He wants to “hustle” and “jive talk” his way to the presidency. But pulling an “all-nighter” isn’t going to give him the foreign affairs credentials that someone like John McCAin has after years of hard work, sweat and tears!

The “audacity of ignorance”. Pres. Reagan did not negotiate from a position of weakness and did not unilaterally reduce nuclear arms to please the Russians and hoped that the Russians would follow suit. Pres. Reagan built up the US military from more than 8 years of neglect and then negotiated from a position of much strength. Both Bill Clinton and Barak Obama are modern Democrats (they are not of the same class and ideology as FDR, Truman and Jefferson) and are more concerned about creating and spending on social programs, pleasing Europeans,the environment (at any cost to this country and it’s citizens)and more and more bureaucratic regulations that stifle entrepreneurship. They need to take more of our money in form of taxes so that they can create even more bureaucracies that do not improve our lives but that they can use to get more votes for their party. They do not have any use for the military because members of our military because these proud men and women do work! They actually do very valuable work and they are courageous. Unlike the benificiaries of most of the Democrat’s social programs;the members of the military tend to be conservative and patriotic. So Barak Obama does not have any use for them.

Mr DWilson, Please read “Derliction of Duty” In the book this military aide to Slick Willy was with him at the President’s Cup in Manassas, VA (a golf tournament)when the call from the joint chiefs of staff came in that they had Bin Laden in their sights and needed the president’s approval to act. Ole Slickster was to busy to take the call. So as much as Bush has “screwed the pooch” 9/11 did not just happen in his first 8 months in office. It was being planned all thru Clinotns term. The WTC bombing of 1993 should have been a wake up.
