And how do you know that? I have a cell phone that was given to me and I buy ‘time” for it when I have the $. Right now I just use it as a camera and haven’t bought time in 2 months.
I give clothing to homeless in LA on a regular basis. They often do day work. They just don’t have enough & for first, last & security deposits. You ought to get out more often!
Why would this be a problem?
I’d rather my tax dollars go to this than being wasted on something as nonsensical as ‘abstinence-only sex education’ in our public schools. Or anything Republicans want actually.
Personally, I’d rather just keep the money, thank you. The problem is that the government takes it at all, then spends it on crap they should never be involved in. Read the Constitution. The federal government is supposed to protect our borders (which they don’t), regulate inter-State trade, and very little else. They were never supposed to be involved in education at all. They were not supposed to create an entire class of people dependent on handouts.
And just so everyone understands, we were formed as a nation of sovereign States. Look up the word State if you don’t remember your 8th grade Civics class. The States are ALWAYS supposed to have more power than the federal government.
And income tax has always been illegal and un-Constitutional. It was meant to be TEMPORARY. The feds have everyone snowed.
Wake up, people! Why should the federal government be allowed to take money away from you at gunpoint to pay for that cell phone? Or pay for ANY type of sex education? They are not allowed to do either under the Constitution!

Theyre the same people that pay nothing into the pool…but tell everybody else JUST HOW \’greedy\’ they are for not \’giving\’ their money to these intentional vagrants of the streets…….

Until, you lived in an area and seen the absolute horrific abuse in the welfare system that is being displayed moment by moment, then shut the hell up! There are countless of down right lazy people of all colors who suck and suck up the freebies and continue to make more babies and raise them with no morals but instead use them (more babies more freebies) and teach them the continuous senseless cycle of not working but taking and taking from society. Not all do this but, unfortunately, most do! PERIOD!!! And why our government cannot stop this abuse is beyond me!
